Workshop Title: ‘Glocalisation in Practice: Think Global, Act Local’

When: 16-17th  July 2026

Where: Ho Chi Minh City, Mai House Hotel

Designed for Vietnamese university leaders, this engaging and highly relevant programme will explore major global higher education trends, examine their implications for Viet Nam, and support participants to translate emerging opportunities and challenges into clear institutional priorities for global engagement.

Through expert insights, facilitated discussion and practical strategy activities, participants will strengthen their capacity to develop globally connected, institutionally aligned and future-focused approaches. The collaboration brings together APAIE’s international education expertise, Viet Nam’s Ministry of Education and Training’s (MOET’s) national leadership and the British Council’s extensive experience in global higher education.

Following the 1.5-day program, APAIE representatives will also participate in a subsequent workshop led by MOET and the British Council, further strengthening collaboration, knowledge exchange and shared approaches to advancing the internationalisation of Vietnamese higher education.
