Professor Zhang Xiaomeng holds a PhD in Philosophy. She currently serves as the Director of International Office and Dean of School of Global Governance of Renmin University of China (RUC). Professor Zhang graduated from Peking University, Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) and Tsinghua University successively, and was a Visiting Fellow at Kennedy School of Harvard University. She was awarded by Fok Ying Tong Education Foundation, and awarded Youth Distinguished Teacher in Beijing.
Professor Zhang’s main research fields are political philosophy and modernization theory. She has published 6 academic monographs and more than 70 academic papers in leading journals. And She has presided over multiple projects of the National Social Science Fund and the Chinese Ministry of Education.
