Professor Doctor Xiaotian Zhang is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global at Curtin University, Australia, overseeing the DVC Global Portfolio, which shapes and delivers the university’s global strategy. His responsibilities include internationalization, student recruitment, global mobility, transnational education and partnerships. An expert in higher education internationalization, Professor Zhang has held senior roles at top universities worldwide, including Deputy Vice President (International) at Shanghai University. He has chaired major multinational education and research initiatives for over a decade.
Academically, Professor Doctor Zhang is the SHU Distinguished Professor of International Business and has held positions at universities including the University of Southern Denmark and Stockholm University. He is a former Rajawali Fellow at Harvard University and Visiting Fellow at Oxford University. He is passionate about the development of global entrepreneurial universities.
