Dr Gan is a Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), Nanyang Technological University. He is currently the Vice Provost (Undergraduate Education) and Dean of NTU Honours College He is also a Fellow of NTU Teaching Excellence Academy.
In his current role, Prof Gan oversees the academic curriculum of all undergraduate programmes in NTU, ensuring that students have a holistic education that include overseas immersion. As the founding Dean of NTU Honours College, he leads a team of faculty fellows in developing an enhanced curriculum and co-curricular learning to nurture talented students from different disciplines who show an aptitude and a passion to serve.
