Digital by design, the Duolingo English Test (DET) is an online, high-stakes English language proficiency assessment that offers an accessible, affordable, and secure way for students to demonstrate their English skills for admissions, placement, progression, exit requirements, and more. Through an engaging presentation and panel discussion, attendees will be introduced to the DET and gain insights into the test’s innovative design, leading digital security practices, and growing global acceptance.
