Eleanor Vandegrift is University of Oregon’s Global Studies Institute Director. She supports faculty and student global research engagement and partnerships to promote academic excellence at the University of Oregon and with global partners. Trained as an ecologist, Elly earned multiple teaching awards for leading biology, pedagogy, and interdisciplinary courses focused on science literacy. She has worked with local, national, and international organizations dedicated to supporting faculty educational development to improve student learning experiences.
