Dr. Rebecca Granato is Associate Vice President for Global Initiatives at Bard College, the Director of the Hubs for Connected Learning Initiatives, and the Chair of the Global Task Force on Third Country Education Pathways. She works at the intersection of development and higher education, promoting the opening of access to higher education and labour opportunities for those affected by displacement. She has developed and runs RhEAP, the only comprehensive, faculty-led higher education bridging program in refugee contexts. Following undergraduate and graduate studies at Bard and Oxford, she received her PhD in Global History from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada.
