Eric Chevreul, born on the 15th of March 1969.
From 2000 to 2004, he served in London, followed by a role as Deputy Director of a cultural institution in Tel Aviv from 2004 to 2009. He then took on the position of University Liaison in Beijing from 2010 to 2012. Between 2012 and 2013, he headed the Cultural, Academic, and Research Cooperation department at Central Administration. From 2013 to 2016, he worked as an Editor focusing on Asia and Oceania. He was seconded to the Foreign Affairs Secretary Corps on September 1, 2013, and became a permanent member of the corps on September 1, 2015. Subsequently, he served as a Political Counselor in Jakarta from 2016 to 2019. He was awarded the Bronze Medal for Foreign Affairs on March 12, 2019. Following this, he was assigned to Central Administration as an Assignor in Human Resources from 2019 to 2020, and later worked as a Liaison for Asia and Oceania from 2020 to 2023. Currently, he is the Cultural Cooperation and Action Counselor, as well as the Director of a cultural institution in Djibouti from 2023 to 2025, and he took on additional responsibilities at Central Administration in Human Resources starting since September 2025. After being in Berlin for few months, he becomes Deputy Consul for Culture, Science and Education at the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong in January 2026.
