Dr Imam Ardhianto is Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia where he earned his master’s degree. He completed his PhD in Anthropology at the University of Freiburg, Germany. His current research interests focus on religion, magic, and kinship, especially how these are entangled with political transformation, ecology, and care and medical practices. He is involved as lecturer and curriculum developer for the joint transdisciplinary minor with the Dutch universities consortium.
