Working in international education for 25 years. He was Director International Strategy & Relations at the University of Groningen where he was responsible for the university’s international strategy and for the management of relations with strategic partners and networks globally. Before, Mervin was Regional Director at Nuffic’s Netherlands Education Support Offices in South Africa and Indonesia and oversaw the SHARE program of the EU for Nuffic, a major investment in higher education integration in Southeast Asia.
