Derek Collins is the Associate Vice President (Cultural and External Affairs) and Founding Director of the Wong How Man Centre for Exploration (WHMCE). Before this role, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts from 2015 to 2023. He is committed to expanding international partnerships between HKU and leading academic and cultural institutions around the world, and to elevating Hong Kong as an international hub of cultural and artistic exchange
