Rafael Dias is a professor of Public Policy at the School of Applied Sciences at the State University of Campinas and currently serves as UNICAMPs Director of International Affairs. He was a visiting postdoctoral researcher at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), University of Sussex, United Kingdom (2016). He holds a Masters (2005) and a PhD (2009) in Science and Technology Policy from UNICAMP, with an internship period at Georgia Institute of Technology (2009). He holds a degree in Economics from Facamp (Faculdades de Campinas, 2003). Rafael has experience in the areas of Science and Technology Studies and Policy Analysis, specializing in the following themes: technologies for social inclusion; Social Innovation; Science, Technology and Power; Technology and democracy; comparative science and technology policy.
