Dr. Taninee Sahakitrungruang is a Professor of Pediatrics at Chulalongkorn University and serves
as Assistant Dean for Graduate Affairs and member of the Steering Committee of the School of
Global Health. She is a member of the APRU Global Health Program Advisory Group and served
as Scientific Chair of the APRU Global Health Conference 2024 in Bangkok, which convened
global experts and youth leaders around the theme of health equity and innovation. She is also
an Academic Committee Member of the APRU SDG4GC (SDG Education for Global Citizenship)
Program, a collaborative initiative between Chulalongkorn University and the University of
Malaya that empowers students to engage in intercultural learning and social innovation for
sustainable development.
Her academic leadership bridges education, health, and global collaboration, focusing on how
transformative and experiential learning can prepare the next generation of leaders and
researchers to address global health and sustainability challenges.
