Dr Alek Voninski is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global) at the University of Newcastle in Australia, where he looks after partnerships, transnational education, visits and protocol and student mobility, and helps to advance international education sustainability initiatives. He has more than 25 years of experience across the Asia-Pacific international education ecosystem, including English language assessment, student recruitment, admissions and education management consulting. Dr Voninski completed his doctoral research in education at the University of Southern California and is a graduate of the University of Sydney Law School, where he completed a Masters degree. He previously worked for more than 11 years at the University of New South Wales.
