Access Delegates Spotlight
Nepal
Through the APAIE Access Program, Far Western University was able to bring our university and our region of Nepal into a wider international higher education space. The experience strengthened our visibility, helped us build confidence in representing FWU globally, and opened new conversations around student exchange, faculty development, research collaboration, curriculum development and academic mobility. Since participating, we have been able to build on these connections through partnerships and MoUs with institutions across the region. The program also encouraged us to think more strategically about internationalisation and to share what we learned with colleagues, students and faculty across our university. For us, the Access Program was not only financial support; it was a bridge between our institution, our region and the global academic community.”

Laos
For the Lao-American Institute, participating in the APAIE Access Program was an important milestone and our first opportunity to join this international platform. It allowed us to share the education landscape of Laos, connect with global institutions, and welcome strong interest in our work, including more than 300 visitors to our exhibition booth. The experience helped us return home with greater confidence, a stronger approach to international engagement, and new ideas for partnerships, exchange programs and regional collaboration. It also inspired the development of “Study Laos by LAI”, an initiative to promote Laos as an emerging destination for academic exchange, cultural learning and international cooperation. Through the Access Program, we were able to look outward, build meaningful connections, and begin positioning Laos more strongly within the global international higher education community.”
