Overview
The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) has administered the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) since 2012, offering globally recognised academic qualifications and diverse pathways for secondary school graduates. Providing a broad spectrum of academic, applied learning, and other language subjects, the HKDSE promotes holistic development, digital education and cultivates biliterate and trilingual talents, reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a bridge connecting with the world.
This presentation will delve into the latest strategies and best practices adopted by the HKEAA to enhance the quality of public examinations and assessments. Key initiatives include School-based Assessment and the Diagnostic Feedback System (DFS), which support comprehensive learning outcomes and foster collaboration with school partners. This session will also highlight initiatives to strengthen the international recognition of the HKDSE, preparing students to thrive in higher education worldwide and contribute to global communities.
