Gero Hemker works in the Department of International Affairs at University of Hamburg. As head of the team for partnership management in Asia, Oceania, Africa and South America, he is in charge of the international engagement of Universität Hamburg in these regions. His main interests comprise international science, technology and education policies. Since 2015, Gero has been working with University of Hamburg, with a special focus on the establishment, management and funding of strategic partnerships.
