Kanako Nakashima is a Ph.D. student in international education at Tohoku University and a member of the International Office, School of Engineering. Her research examines international student mobility in non-Anglophone contexts, with particular attention to international students’ educational pathways to Japan. She is also engaged in the design and coordination of short-term international engineering programs and institutional partnerships.
