Vice President & Deputy Vice Chancellor (Global Engagement), University of Exeter

Richard is Vice President (Global Engagement) at the University of Exeter. He leads the University’s international activities worldwide and overseas a global network of education, research and knowledge-exchange partnerships. An elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, Follett is also Professor of American history and a multi-award-winning historian on the history of U.S. and Caribbean slavery. He was Chair of Universities UK International Africa and Middle East Network (2020-23).
