Dr. Behara Satyanarayana is currently working as Associate Professor at the Institute of Oceanography and Environment, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (since 2013). He started his research career as a Mangrove Biologist in India (1995-2002) and expanded the scope of his studies across Asia (Sri Lanka, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia), Africa (Cameroon, The Gambia, Senegal, Republic of the Congo, Madagascar), and the Americas (Colombia). While serving as a Potential Scientific Collaborator to the University Libre Brussels (Belgium) (since 2010), Dr. Satyanarayana is also managing the Erasmus Mundus excellence labelled ‘Tropical Biodiversity and Ecosystems’ (TROPIMUNDO) Master programme as a Local Coordinator for Malaysia (since 2014).
