Abstract
As universities across Asia-Pacific respond to rapid digital transformation and the growing influence of AI, international collaboration is becoming increasingly important in shaping higher education systems that remain inclusive, relevant, and people-centred. Erasmus+ has played an important role in supporting higher education institutions through mobility programmes, capacity building initiatives, and international partnerships that encourage collaboration across regions and disciplines. In particular, Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects have increasingly focused on areas related to digital transformation, innovation, and institutional development.
This pre-conference workshop series will bring together Erasmus+ practitioners, higher education institutions, and regional partners from Asia-Pacific and Europe to share experiences and reflect on how international collaboration can support higher education in the AI age.
The morning workshop will focus on Erasmus+ collaboration, mobility, institutional partnerships, and digital transformation in higher education. The afternoon workshop will provide more practical engagement on partnership development, proposal planning, budgeting considerations, and project sustainability.
Rather than focusing only on presentations, the workshops will encourage open discussion, collaborative exchange, and practical sharing among participants. Through institutional experiences, interactive discussions, and partnership-focused activities, participants will explore both opportunities and challenges related to Erasmus+ collaboration and sustainable international partnerships.
