Maximum capacity: 40 participants
Minimum capacity: 35 participants
A waiting list may be implemented if registrations exceed the maximum capacity.

Booking deadline: Bookings must be made before 12 March 2027 with the link provided.
Registration is on a first come, first served basis and will be closed once seats are full.

Important notes

1. Participants are advised that the tour will involve moderate walking, particularly during visits to historical sites and heritage areas in Melaka. Comfortable footwear and appropriate attire are recommended to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience throughout the walking tour.
2. The MYR300 fee includes:
   1. Return coach transportation between the official conference hotel(s) and Melaka;
   2. Transportation throughout the tour programme in Melaka;
   3. Cultural dance performance;
   4. Professional tour guide services;
   5. Peranakan (Baba & Nyonya) lunch;
   6. Melaka River Cruise ticket; and
   7. Morning and afternoon refreshments.
3. Payment will be made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) only. Delegates will not be given the option to pay in USD.
4. Payment must be made via bank transfer to the official UTeM Treasurer’s (Bendahari) account. Payment instructions and bank details will be provided upon registration.
5. A delegate’s place will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
6. Upon successful payment, the UTeM Treasurer’s Office will issue an official invoice/payment confirmation as proof of payment.
7. UTeM will provide a Google Form for registered participants to complete their registration and upload the bank transfer receipt. This will be used to verify payment and manage participant registration.
8. Regarding the cancellation and refund policy, the tour is subject to a minimum participation of 35 delegates. If fewer than 35 participants register, the tour may be cancelled and a full refund will be provided.
9. Once the initial capacity of 35 participants has been reached, additional registrations will only be accepted if the total number of participants reaches 50 or more, as a second coach will need to be arranged. If the required number of participants for the additional coach is not achieved, UTeM reserves the right to decline further registrations or refund the affected participants.

Delegates are requested to assemble at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure
Travel by: Transportation by bus will be provided by UTeM.
Estimated travel time: Approximately 2 hours from Kuala Lumpur to UTeM main campus, Melaka.

Tour concludes at: 8:00 PM
Transport back: Transportation by bus will be provided by UTeM.
